City Agents: Light in a Space

Valoa tilassa

The Light in a Space workshop introduced ninth graders to the potential of using light art to liven up different environments. Before the creative process, the students tested different lights and lighting methods. They then designed and created light installations in areas where people come and walk through – the entrance hall, lobby staircase and assembly hall of their school. The late autumn weather unfortunately prevented them from creating works in the yard. Through their installations the students wanted to highlight common routes and places and create a festive atmosphere for the school's market day during which the public also had a chance to enjoy the lights.[embed]https://youtu.be/50f4UDfhStI[/embed]
