Elias brings to Archinfo his expertise in media studies, as well as his experience in communications roles in the cultural and events sector, where he has worked at the intersection of broad audiences and experts in the art fields. He joined Archinfo straight from his role in communications for the Turku Animated Film Festival. Elias has long followed architecture at close range, and now he draws on his international experience and visual perspective to help make Finnish architecture internationally visible and known.
Elias is inspired by a good story, and he usually finds the best ones off the beaten path. In his free time, you might find him on a jiu-jitsu tatami, at the cinema, or learning to sail in the Gulf of Riga. His curiosity often leads him on new adventures abroad, while the people close to him, art and the tranquillity of nature serve as anchors in everyday life.
