The NEB community would like to invite you to the launch of the New European Bauhaus capacity building programme for the reconstruction of Ukraine on the 16 March at 15:00 CET
The programme that Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced in Kyiv in February will provide both inspiration and practical help for municipalities involved in the reconstruction and rebuilding of Ukraine and promote the values of the New European Bauhaus, sustainability, aesthetics and inclusion, as a guiding principle for the reconstruction.
The programme will consist of a series of online webinars, starting in April. All modules are based on a thorough assessment of the needs of Ukrainian municipalities conducted in autumn 2022. The programme is organised by and with the Ukrainian partners Ro3kvit, ReThink, Covenant of Mayors East and the Architects’ Council of Europe.
We would be delighted if you would join the launch event of these webinars that will take place on the 16th March at 15:00 (CET). This high-level event of two hours will set the political framing of the capacity building and give an overview of the upcoming three modules.
The speakers of the launch webinar will include
Ursula von der Leyen, Mariya Gabriel, Elisa Ferreira, Virginijus Sinkevičius and Oleksandr Kubrakov among others
The event will be held both in English and Ukrainian, with simultaneous translations.
