Here and Now: conversations with Juhani Pallasmaa now available on DVD

The video recordings of the conversations between professor, architect and internationally acclaimed writer and lecturer Juhani Pallasmaa and architect Severi Blomstedt, are now available on DVD and on sale at the Museum of Finnish Architecture in Helsinki.Two of the three video episodes have English subtitles. The Sammatti episode (58 min.) discusses architecture, creativity, visual arts, literature, philosophy and Gestalt psychology and opens Pallasmaa's personal history. The Huvilakatu 14 episode (60 min.) has been filmed at Pallasmaa's home and it presents Pallasmaa's prolific career as a designer and architectural theorist. The Puistokatu 4 episode is only available in Finnish.The films have been filmed during 2012–2013, directed by film director Anssi Blomsted and produced by the Museum of Finnish Architecture, Studio Anssi Blomstedt and Severi Blomstedt Architects. Architect Severi Blomstedt was the director of the Museum of Finnish Architecture during 2002–2010 and the former professor at the Helsinki University of Technology, Department of Architecture.
