The Finnish Architecture Navigator launched

Architecture Information Centre Finland (Arkkitehtuurin tiedotuskeskus) opens a new information and location service Finnish Architecture Navigator to mark the Architecture Day 2015 on Alvar Aalto's birthday 3rd February. The site navi.finnisharchitecture.fi contains photographs, drawings, location information and key facts about selected projects designed by Finnish architects around the world.The pilot version launches with the Finnish Architecture Biennial Review 2014 selection and four buildings by Alvar Aalto in Helsinki. The content has been curated by the Museum of Finnish Architecture and the Alvar Aalto Museum. The site development is by Steep Interactive Ltd.The Finnish Architecture Navigator information service is targeted at both architecture professionals and enthusiasts alike and it will be updated and developed further already during 2015. By the centenary of Finland's independence in 2017 the number of listed projects will reach 1,000 entries.
