The exhibition on display at Bio Rex, curated by emeritus professor Tore Tallqvist, delves into the life’s work of Alvar Aalto and explores his architecture through the Säynätsalo Town Hall.
The unique exhibition sheds light on the life’s work of Alvar Aalto, reflected through one of his architectural masterpieces – the Säynätsalo Town Hall. The exhibition was created by the emeritus professor of architectural history, Tore Tallqvist (1941–2022), and offers a profound insight into Aalto’s visionary work and his influence on modern architecture.
The exhibition focuses on the central themes of Aalto’s life’s work and how they continue to serve as guiding principles for design into the future.
The exhibition is open until 8 August according to Amos Rex opening hours (closed on Tuesdays, open on other weekdays from 11–18 and weekends from 11–17).
