Architecture Speaks! Helga Blocksdorf

Simon Menges
Architecture is a continuation of history. It preserves traces of society that cannot be recorded in any other way. Through architecture, we can understand where we have come from and where we are heading, while at the same time defining what we leave to future generations. These questions are explored in the Architecture Speaks! lecture series through this season's theme, Local Memory.
Jointly organised by Aalto University and the Architecture & Design Museum, the international lecture series Architecture Speaks! brings together current voices and perspectives in architecture. Invited architects share insights into their design processes, their work and their role in the field of architecture.
In the twelfth season of the lecture series, Professor and Head of Department Jenni Reuter invites seven speakers to share insights into their design work under the theme Local Memory. The fifth lecture is held by Helga Blocksdorf.
The lectures are held online in English and are free to attend.
