Open house at Villa Skeppet

Alvar Aalto designed Villa Skeppet for his friend and biographer Göran Schildt and his spouse Christine. At Villa Skeppet, you can explore Aalto’s architecture and the friendship that influenced the creation of the building.

The house was sensitively renovated in 2019–2020 and has been preserved largely in its original condition. Villa Skeppet is a site of significance both architecturally and for its story.

Admission is free on the ArcDesign event’s open house day, but please be prepared for possible queuing
