Beyond Zero is a New European Bauhaus exhibition with architectural projects from the Nordics and Estonia looking for radical solutions to mitigate climate change, the biggest challenge of out time.

The exhibition “Beyond Zero – Nordic Architecture on the Road Towards Renewed Practices”, which explores environmentally sustainable contemporary architecture and construction, will be on display in Oulu, at Design Centre Proto, from 16 January to 8 March, 2026.

The exhibition showcases 17 projects from the Nordic countries and Estonia, each offering its own ambitious perspective on the transition towards sustainable practices in the building industry. The exhibition has been curated by Finnish Noon Architects and was created as part of Nordic Council’s Nordic Carbon Neutral Bauhaus project, premiering in Malmö in November 2024. The touring exhibition has been previously seen also in Helsinki's Urban Environment House.
