Biennale Architettura 2025: pre-opening days

The pre-opening days of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of la Biennale di Venezia will take place from May 7–9. The exhibition areas of Giardini and Arsenale will be open from 10 am to 7 pm on the preview days. An engaging program of opening events is also scheduled at the Finnish and Nordic pavilions.

The The Pavilion – Architecture of Stewardship exhibition, presented at the Pavilion of Finland, will celebrate its opening on Thursday, May 8 at 3:30 pm at the Giardini della Biennale pavilion park in Venice. Prior to the opening, a book launch event will take place at the same location at 10:30 am. The opening of the Industry Muscle exhibition at the Nordic Pavilion will be held on Thursday at 2:30 pm. A performance related to the opening can also be seen May 9–10 from 3 pm to 5 pm. 

On Friday, 9 May at 18:00, Archinfo will host a discussion on the Patio of the Pavilion of Finland, featuring the curatorial teams of the Oslo Architecture Triennale, Trienal de Arquitectura de Lisboa, and the Pavilion of Finland. On Saturday, 10 May at 14:00, curators of the Pavilion of Finland, Ella Kaira and Matti Jänkälä will lead a discussion on the Patio about the ongoing maintenance required to safeguard the Pavilion of Finland’s future. They will be joined by people involved in past restoration projects and repairs.
