Film screening: Jarðsetning – Internment

The documentary Jarðsetning – Interment by Anna María Bogadóttir will be shown as part of the Beyond Zero exhibition opening.
The work by Icelandic architect and writer Anna María Bogadóttir poetically documents the demolition of a bank building in Reykjavík, constructed in the 1960s, capturing it in all its brutality and ordinariness. Her book Jarðsetning, which deals with the same subject, was nominated for the Nordic Council Literature Prize in 2024.
The film will be screened in the Auditorium on the first floor of the Urban Environment House. The Beyond Zero exhibition will be on display in the lobby. Read more about the exhibition via this link.
