Sunila Aalto Homes 2025 opens the doors to 15 unique private residences in Sunila, designed by Alvar and Aino Aalto.

Sunila Aalto Homes is an open-door event that showcases the fine residential complex designed by Aino and Alvar Aalto and the surrounding area through architecture, interior design, design and courtyard environments. Sunila is the largest architectural complex designed by the Aaltos, encompassing both a factory site and a residential area. Sunila is being proposed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site alongside 12 other Aalto sites in Finland.

The event offers the public a chance to explore fifteen privately owned residences designed by the Aaltos. The showcased homes range from 30-square-meter studio apartments originally built for workers to the 450-square-meter Kantola residence, designed for the factory director. The properties are used as permanent homes, vacation residences, or rental accommodations. The apartments represent Aalto architecture from the 1930s to the 1950s and feature a variety of interior design solutions.

To ensure a comfortable visitor experience, a limited number of tickets are available. Read more and get your ticket for the event through this link.
