Tampere Architecture and Design Week 2026

The 2026 TAD Week offers a wide range of exhibitions, workshops and seminars from 25 September to 30 October in the historical area of Finlayson.
The theme of Tampere Architecture and Design Week is Intelligence, and at the same time Absurdity. Increasingly efficient systems, such as smart cities and homes, are being developed to adapt to climate change. In addition, the growing role of artificial intelligence in design is transforming the professions of architects and designers at an unprecedented pace. The Intelligence theme encourages visitors to reflect on what would be an intelligent way to design in the future. The festival invites to explore solutions to these topics, with the aim of creating buildings, products, and living environments that will endure for centuries.
TAD Week is an open festival for everyone, and most events are free of charge. There is also an opportunity to contribute to the programme: the open call for proposals is available until 6 August.

The aim of TAD ry is to maintain and develop collaboration, information and education between the fields of architecture and design, while promoting the conditions for high-quality architecture and design.
