The Helsinki documentary film festival organised since 2002 contains treats also for architecture enthusiasts, taking place in the turn of January and February.

DocPoint is Finland's largest documentary film festival, and this year's programme includes more than a hundred topical Finnish and international documentary films. DocPoint aims to expand the public's understanding of the world by highlighting the diversity of the environment and people, both now and in the future. Equality, diversity and ecology are the festival’s core values.

For architecture lovers, the festival's programme includes A Plan for Paradise, directed by Kati Juurus. In addition, the programme also includes Last Year of DarknessMagic Mountain, and The Mother of All Lies movies, where architecture is an integral part of the movie plot. More on the festival and its programme can be found in Archinfo's DocPoint news article.
