Oslo Architecture Triennale 2026

The Triennale challenges and inspires by addressing current issues in the field, explored by international architects, professionals and local communities. The festival's two-week programme includes panel discussions, city walks, seminars, workshops and films. 

The main exhibition is built from reused materials. It brings together more than 30 international architecture projects that explore the question “What if Nature Comes First?”. Projects from around the world demonstrate how nature can be applied to the practices and principles of contemporary architecture.

The festival venue, Solienberg Church (1877), is no longer in use as a church and is being transformed into a local cultural venue. During the Triennale, every weekday morning, a sermon on sustainability and architecture is held in the repurposed church.
