Helsinki Design Week

The launch of a new community-based space and service concept TiLA! will take place at the Aalto University campus on 4 September.

A joint project by Aalto University and the City of Espoo, TiLA! provides affordable studios, shared workspaces, support services and a community for creative professionals. Aalto University’s extensive and international creative community creates a space that connects expertise in research, art, design and entrepreneurship with Espoo’s entrepreneurial and cultural ecosystem.

TiLA! is currently in its pilot phase, and the opening event offers a glimpse into the creative work of the first community members. The detailed opening programme will be published soon on the TiLA! website. The event is part of the Helsinki Design Week programme.

The event is free of charge, but registration is required by 27 August 2026. Places are limited, registration through this link.
