DL: 01.12.2026

The New European Bauhaus (NEB) Facility is a comprehensive funding instrument aiming to create sustainable, inclusive, and aesthetically pleasing neighbourhoods.
The New European Bauhaus Facility 2025-2027 is a unique funding tool for the New European Bauhaus (NEB). It is an initiative of the European Commission that fosters the development and scale up of innovative solutions for the transformation of neighbourhoods to become not only sustainable, but also inclusive and beautiful.
The NEB Facility aims to revitalise neighbourhoods through design for sustainability and inclusion. As a multi-annual funding tool from 2025 to 2027, the NEB Facility is anchored in the Strategic Plan 2025-2027 of the EU’s Research and Innovation programme Horizon Europe.
Calls for proposals are organized into three areas:
Destination 1 (Participation and local democracy), focused on the human dimension, taking into account the social and cultural aspects of urban regeneration.
Destination 2 (Urban Regeneration) pays special attention to the physical dimension of the transformation of built environments, as well as to environmental aspects.
Destination 3 (Business), focused on the economic and financial dimensions, which will explore innovative investment and business models.
