The Fundació Mies van der Rohe's call for the 5th edition of the Lilly Reich Grant for equality in architecture is now open.
The Lilly Reich Grant aims to support research projects that highlight overlooked contributions to architecture, examines discrimination, and promotes equal opportunities in professional practice. This edition will pay special attention to projects related to the figure, work, legacy and professional context of Lilly Reich, architect and designer, key collaborator of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and co-author of the 1929 German Pavilion in Barcelona, without excluding the assessment of other topics linked to equality in architecture.
The grant is open to proposals from all backgrounds, submitted either individually or as a team, and focused on any geographical context, historical period or line of research aligned with these objectives.
The research outcomes may adopt the form that best suits the objectives of the project, provided that it allows the results obtained to be properly documented and disseminated. Previous editions of the grant have resulted in relevant contributions in the form of scientific articles, lectures, exhibitions, publications, documentaries and searchable databases.
Read more and submit your research proposal by 2 September via this link.
